The Craft of Writing programme

This is our outline programme for the week. Timings may vary slightly but this will give you an idea of how to plan your time and make the most of your retreat.

Morning workshops take place in the Studio, which is in the garden behind the house, along a short path then up a few steps. The workshops are led by Kath Morgan and Jane Moss, your two resident tutors. We encourage you to attend them, but if you would like to spend the time getting on with your own writing you are welcome to do so.

You can sign up for two 50 minute afternoon one-to-one sessions with Kath or Jane; a chance to discuss your writing in depth and receive detailed feedback.

In the evenings we have a variety of after dinner talks and readings. On the final evening we invite those of you who would like to share your own writing to read to the group; a lovely way to end the week by the fireside in Rosemerryn’s beautiful main room.
