The Writing Retreat: kick start your novel at Cornwall’s new retreat for writers
Two local writers have teamed up to provide The Writing Retreat, Cornwall’s newest dedicated writing retreat in the beautiful setting of Rosemerryn near Lamorna Cove.
The four night retreat is being offered for the first time from 17-21 November at a special introductory all inclusive offer of just £455.00.
The retreat is hosted by Kath Morgan and Jane Moss, experienced creative writing tutors from the South coast of Cornwall. They discovered they shared the same vision, to provide the perfect place in which to write, with delicious food and good company.
Guests will enjoy a comfortable and spacious room, all meals freshly prepared, a writing workshop to provide inspiration, and one to one tuition and coaching sessions with Kath and Jane.
Jane Moss says: ‘A great retreat means time and space in which to write without distractions. We can’t wait to welcome writers from Cornwall and further afield.’
Kath Morgan adds: ‘In Rosemerryn we’ve found the ideal spot; tucked away but easy to reach, oozing with atmosphere and with a touch of luxury. It’s certainly inspired me.’
Laura Shaw, owner of Rosemerryn, is delighted to be hosting the retreat during the autumn. Laura Shaw says: ‘The Writing Retreat is the perfect excuse to visit Cornwall outside the busy summer period, and Rosemerryn offers a tranquil space in which to nurture or discover your creative spirit.’
